Chili; More Than I Expected
Chili: All you can imagine and MORE!
Last two weeks I spend my life in Chile, where? Somewhere called Concepcion and now, in a far place call Valdivia.
You never imagine find so much things, and absolutely be surprised for each one of them.
But, what are those things I heard before my arrival here:
1- Chili: SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE!
2- Chili: beauty places BUT people wont talk to you, they are very serious
3- Chili?!: FTA: They have lot of Free Trade Agreements, you should learn!
4- Chili: Regueton!
5- Chili: mmmm COLD, COLD and raining!
After my first two weeks here (and with 3 more ahead) all that I can said is:
Chili; Yes, yes is very expensive, but you can find different prices, and tons of different brands (thanks their FTA). I never find a lot of brands in Argentina because they produce ALL and they have a lot of subsidies for EVERYTHING! It´s very hard for ANY company try to get into the Argentina’s market, barriers kill them.

Chili: Yes, people were right, a lot of beauty places, and yes people is very quiet, but people is very nice, they are warm, and always trying to give the best. I have been with some families, they are very nice, as well as the rest of people.
Chili: FTA, Chili is the real “FTA MAKER” They just signed the FTA with China, and the people expectations regarding prices are very high, everybody waits cheap prices, and much more brands and products. Regarding the rest of FTA they already had, is very interesting how you can find technology products cheaper than Argentina or Guatemala for example.

Chili: Regueton: That was all a surprise for me, they LOVE regueton!! All parties, bars, any moment, they really enjoy regueton, and as you know I like regueton (even though is not my favorite music), but here I have to dance ALWAYS!. And the rest of this “Reguetton history” is that all the people said: “oh, are you from Guatemala? You should teach how to dance this”. All the people think Regueton born in Central America. (Just to share, Regueton born in Puerto Rico, Caribean!)
Chili: Cold, cold? OF COURSE!! Specially because I am in the very south of Chili, there are 2 points to share:
a- Weather is getting crazy; 2 sunny days, 3 raining days, etc, etc. You never know how to wear.
b- If you are in the north part of the country people is cold, if you are in the middle, people is nice, warmer, but if you are in the south part people is getting warmer and warmer. I like that, and of course, I love to be here, at the south of this country!
Anyways, they talk very funny, is not bad, just funny, I enjoy a lot their idioms, and for sure Chili is for me so much more that I expected!
